Prevost

Both carpenter and cabinetmaker, Eugène Prévost, within the obvious intent of modernizing his factory, he expanded to incorporate mechanics and explored electric power. Eugène Prévost, a fully French-Canadian “Québécois” from Sainte-Claire succeeded in distinguishing himself gave birth to the Prevost motorcoach industry – the same motorcoach brand that criss-crosses all of North America today. His successors raised the Prevost brand to the highest ranks of international prestigious companies. Today, Prevost is a subsidiary of the Volvo Buses, whose headquarters are in Sweden.
